Hawaii Super Transit · Waikiki pickup
Hawaii Super Transit runs a round-trip shuttle from Waikiki to Dole Plantation and Haleiwa, with two hours at Dole and an hour in town. Book it if you want the North Shore's pineapple and shrimp-truck side without paying for a guided loop.

This is a ride, not a circle. The shuttle leaves Waikiki once everyone is aboard and heads inland to Dole Plantation for two hours, then 45 minutes at Jenny's Shrimp Truck, an hour in Haleiwa Town Center and 15 minutes at the North Shore Macadamia Nut Company. There is no Blowhole, Pali or windward coast. For the full loop, see the Grand Circle Island tour.
Two hours at Dole leaves time for the train and the maze, which the big bus can't fit into its 30 minutes. Dole Plantation's own price list lists $15 for an adult train ride, $10 for the maze and $8.50 for the garden tour; entry to the visitor center is free. The shrimp lunch is at your own cost.
The only inclusion is the air-conditioned vehicle, so there is no guide in the price. Guests describe drivers who check the head count at every stop. Everyone from age 4 pays the same fare, which makes it less of a bargain for families with young kids than it first looks.
Be at your pickup point 10 to 15 minutes early. The shuttle leaves town once all guests are on board.
Pineapple Express train, maze, garden tour or just a Dole Whip. All paid separately.
Garlic shrimp lunch at your own cost.
Shops, shave ice and a walk around the North Shore's main town.
A short stop at the North Shore Macadamia Nut Company, then back to Waikiki.
★★★★★A perfect day adventure, if you want to experience the Dole plantation and North Shore (Haleiwa) and be back in town by 3:15-4. The bus picks you up in Waikiki and takes you out and brings you back. Lots of good restaurants in town, with plenty of time to eat and shop.
★★★★★We considered renting a car to see the sights but decided to book this tour instead and were glad we did. [...] Some of the stops had very limited parking so it was nice to be dropped off.
★★★★★Raoul did a great job! He kept us informed of the time he would pick us up, drop us off, and time until we arrived. Very safe driving. Was nice to not have to worry about navigating around the island.
